Facebook changes the interface of comments on posts

Facebook is going to make a major change in terms of the interface where comments are displayed for posts published by users. According to the images below, those from Facebook want to modify the interface so that it looks more like the one inside the Facebook Messenger application.

No matter where we see comments for posts, that is, in the News Feed or in another section of the Facebook application, they would look like the image below. Those at Facebook have been testing the new format for comments for some time and are going to launch it officially in the next period, but for now they are solving the problems that still exist in the system.

According to those from Facebook, the change for the interface is meant to attract users and stimulate them to have more conversations with posts. Facebook has also confirmed that it is currently testing multiple designs for this interface, so there is a possibility that the final version will be slightly different from the one in the images.

Facebook also plans to display pop-ups with other posts and a writing indicator to let you know when another person replies to a comment. How encouraged users will be to discuss more after the implementation of this interface is very difficult to say, but it is not excluded that Facebook is perfectly right.

"We are always working to make Facebook a more visual and engaging place to have conversations. So we're testing multiple design updates in News Feed, including a more conversational way to comment on posts."
