Samsung Galaxy S8 and an extreme resistance test

Today, the Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus is subjected to an extreme resistance test which aims to show us how well the screen and the case can withstand any less common accidents. To begin with, the Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus case is attacked with a sharp knife, which after many hits manages to generate a rather artistic crack in the middle of the terminal.

However, I must admit that I was impressed by the number of hits that were needed to crack the Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus case in this test. I would have expected the glass of the Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus case to crack much faster considering the strong blows applied to the case, but here Samsung amazes with the resistance of its new smartphone.

Moving on to the screen, the hammer used to destroy it required a lot of hits on the Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus to crack it near the middle of the device. Here the resistance of the Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus screen is even more impressive, it is most likely protected by Gorilla Glass 5, which shows us that it is extremely resistant to the impact applied with a very high force.

Few smartphones can withstand this kind of torture, but the Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus amazes with the resistance it shows for both the case and the screen. For now, we do not have a test done to compare the resistance of the Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus and the iPhone 7 in the same way, but we will probably have something like that in the not too distant future.

What do you think about the durability of the Samsung Galaxy S8?
