The woman saved by the iPhone in the Manchester attack

The attack in Manchester the other day put the whole world "on guard", after dozens of people died and dozens more were injured after a bomb exploded inside an arena hosting a concert. Most of the victims of the attack in Manchester were children, but some adults were also hit by the fragments projected by the improvised bomb detonated there.

One of these victims of the attack in Manchester is a woman whose husband claims that the iPhone terminal he had in his ear probably saved his life. In the image below you can see the iPhone terminal in question, it became a fragment of the bomb detonated in the Manchester attack, it still hit the woman's face even while she was using it to make a call.

According to her, the fragment of the bomb detonated in the Manchester attack hit the terminal, then penetrated her cheek to finally stop in her nose. Her husband stated that the iPhone terminal most likely slowed down the fragment and diverted its trajectory towards the nose, otherwise the woman would have been one of the deceased victims in the Manchester attack.

Unfortunately, the nose wound was not the only one the woman suffered following the Manchester attack, but this is the most serious of them, requiring at least one more operation. Her husband claims that she feels lucky that she managed to survive the attack in Manchester, but also that she had the iPhone terminal to her ear at that time.

Unfortunately, not many people were as lucky, but a mobile phone can save a person's life even in the case of an attack like the one in Manchester.

""The fact that she was on the phone at the time probably saved her life. The nut has hit her phone which has more than likely not only diverted it, but also slowed it down considerably."
