Facebook is developing a new application for the iPhone

Facebook, the largest social network on the planet, is developing a new iPhone application that will be launched later this year. The information comes directly from people inside Facebook, they confirm the intentions of the Americans regarding the application, it being thought to attract more young people to the website.

Talk is the name of the new application developed by the Facebook company, it is going to convince young people to communicate more often with friends or parents. Talk is a messaging application, not for accessing the Facebook social network, but it will use information from it to put young people in contact with friends and parents.

The Talk application would also contain parental functions, so that some parents could control their children and what they share through this new Facebook application. The interesting part is that the Talk application will not require authentication with a Facebook account, so some functions will be missing for those without it, but it will still allow communication between mobile terminals of almost any kind.

Talk will offer communication functions similar to those of Facebook Messenger, so users will be able to share text messages, emoticons and more. Because it is an application created for young people, even children, the Talk application of those from Facebook will have to have functions that attract them, the company needing more young people active in the network.

No one knows yet when this new application will be launched, but it probably won't take long until it is available.

"Facebook is trying to find more ways to get younger people to use its apps, potentially by creating a teen-oriented messaging service that gives parents more control over whom their kids can contact. Code inside the main Facebook app points to an unreleased messaging app aimed at young teens called "Talk,"."
