iOS 11 shows the position of the Home Button in iPhone 8

iOS 11 was released by those from Apple so that developers of applications for the iOS platform can test the update before the official release in the fall of this year, before the appearance iPhone 8. iOS 11 contains many of the novelties that Apple wants to offer in the fall, and among them is the position of the new virtual Home button for iPhone 8.

This disclosure is visible when using the Siri personal assistant in iOS 11, with the listening button positioned very low on the screen, much like it will be on the iPhone 8. We already know that the iPhone 8 will have a screen that covers the entire front panel of the case, the physical Home button being replaced by the Apple company with a virtual one, present in iOS 11.

This virtual Home button of iOS 11 could be present in the entire iPhone 8 interface, but there could also be some applications where it would be hidden, more precisely in the one for Siri. Of course, we don't know for sure what Apple will do for iPhone 8 in iOS 11, considering that so far no interface elements have been found that clearly suggest that they are ready for iPhone 8.

Despite this, we can analyze what is offered to us in iOS 11 by the Apple company and we can draw conclusions regarding the changes prepared for iPhone 8. All Android terminals that have screens that cover almost the entire surface of the front panel, also have buttons Virtual home, and something identical will be available in iOS 11 for iPhone 8.

It is not known if Apple will only implement a Home button in iOS 11 for iPhone 8, and if we will have other navigation buttons, but this seems quite unlikely. Until now, we have managed only with a Home button, and for now there are no indications that Apple would like to make such a major change to the way of interaction with the iPhone 8 in iOS 11.

However, until the iPhone 8 launch, there is still a lot of time and just as much will change, but maybe we will also see the iOS 11 interface for it. Everyone's hopes lie in the fact that the virtual Home button will not take up a lot of space on the iPhone 8's large screen, but it remains to be seen how Apple thought about it for iOS 11.

  1. since we have 3d touch, I don't see why we still need the home button.. I say that ios11 somehow shows that we don't need it anymore. Maybe just as an option that can be activated in the settings for those who want something like this on the display

  2. I am starting to get used. On the iPhone, I don't see any big step forward made anywhere. Maybe on the iPad, but since I don't have an iPad... there's nothing "wow" for the iPhone.
