iPhone 8 – The first images with the new A11 chip

iPhone 8 has the new A11 chip presented in the first images that were taken in Asia with one of the most important components of the new mobile phone.

iPhone 8 it has what appears to be the new A11 chip shown in the first images from Asia today, most likely from a Foxconn factory. The iPhone 8 has been in full assembly at Foxconn for over 2 weeks, so it was expected to see more and more components of the new smartphone presented in various images on the Internet, and the new A11 chip is one of the most important.

The iPhone 8 will have a new, improved A11 processor with, most likely, 3 GB of RAM, which will offer performance above that of the iPhone 7 Plus. iPhone 8 could still have a quad-core processor, or maybe even a processor with 6 cores, but it remains to be seen what Apple has prepared, its newest tablets benefit from these new processors that have 2 more cores than those of the iPhone 7 Plus.

The iPhone 8, in the images in this article, seems to have really revealed the new A11 chip, especially thanks to the markings that are visible on this component. Although the image has a very poor resolution, we can see quite clearly that it is a possible A11 chip with the Apple logo and the font used for writing on older components, the positioning of the codes being the same in the case of this iPhone 8 component.

In the second image presented, the iPhone 8 also has the inner part of the new A11 chip, where some special markings for this component are visible. Inside the A11 chip, the Apple company will include not only the iPhone 8 processor, but also the RAM memory, the graphics card, but of course Apple could also include other surprises in this processor produced using a 10nm manufacturing process.

iPhone 8 will have an A11 chip that will have more transistors than those included in the previous model, its dimensions seem to be similar but those of the A10 chip. Moreover, the new A11 chip for iPhone 8 is going to offer better energy efficiency, plus who knows what other major improvements apart from high performance.

The iPhone 8 could perform at least 15% better than the iPhone 7 Plus thanks to this new A11 chip, but that depends on what Apple wants to offer us. If the iPhone 8 will also have 6 cores for the processor, then the performances will be even better, Apple being able to offer A11 chips with a different configuration for the iPhone 7S, due to the smaller screens, but also the much lower resolution for these phones.
