Apple TV 5 – New 4K Playback Function

Apple TV 5 will also be presented together with iPhone X si iPhone 8 at the Apple conference on September 12, although few people seem to pay attention to this product from Cupertino. Yesterday, he confirmed one of the most important functions to be announced by the Apple company, namely the one for playing 4K video clips, Apple TV 5 being the first product in the series with such support.

Apple TV 5 will be able to play 4K video clips, whether they will be loaded from the iPhone or from iTunes, the support being important to be able to see them in the end. iOS 11 confirmed the implementation of the function in Apple TV 5, but also confirms the fact that an internet connection of at least 15 Mbps will be required to benefit from this functionality, otherwise the playback may be automatically blocked by the system.

Apple TV 5 should, in theory, hide the 4K playback option from iTunes, or other services, if we don't have a connection of at least 15 Mbps, so it will be a problem for those with a mobile connection. Apple TV 5 also has confirmed support for Dolby Vision video playback, or HDR 10, so users with the latest generation TVs will be able to really enjoy what they offer.

Apple TV 5 does not yet have a possible price set by the Apple company, but it will probably cost about as much as Apple TV 4 at the time of launch. We are talking about prices of, most likely, over 100 dollars for the Apple TV 5, but it remains to be seen what the Apple company will decide to announce on September 12.
