iPhone 8 will have LESS RAM than iPhone X

iPhone 8 will have LESS RAM than iPhone X and iPhone 8 Plus, the Apple company making the decision that it doesn't really need it, unfortunately for customers.

iPhone 8 it will have less RAM than iPhone X, according to some information that appeared last night regarding the two new phones of Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC),. iPhone 8 and iPhone X have been announced so far as being prepared by the Apple company for launch with the same amount of RAM memory, but it seems that in reality there will be serious differences between them, as is normal for such a launch.

iPhone 8 will have only 2 GB of RAM, just like iPhone 7, while iPhone 8 Plus and iPhone X will each have 3 GB of RAM, as happened with iPhone 7 Plus last year. The iPhone 8 will be the fourth model with a 4.7-inch screen that has only 2 GB of RAM, the Apple company considering that it does not need more than that, but this is wrong, because it would have needed as much RAM memory like iPhone X.

iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus and iPhone X have been presented by most sources so far as having 3 GB of RAM and, probably, identical specifications, but of course that will not happen either. The iPhone 7 series uses DDR 4 RAM and of course the iPhone 8 and iPhone X will also have the same type of RAM, but it will probably be faster.

iPhone 8 will have less RAM than iPhone X and iPhone 8 Plus

The iPhone 8 with only 2 GB of RAM will still be able to offer augmented reality functions through ARKit, but it will certainly not have all the functions that the iPhone 8 Plus and iPhone X will offer. The Apple company wants to be sure that it still differentiates the phones it will launch during this month, and the amounts of RAM offered for the iPhone 8 and iPhone X will definitely keep customers away from what they shouldn't.

iPhone 8 with less RAM than iPhone X suggests that even in the new A11 chip there will be differences in terms of processing power. We know from last night that the iPhone X has a processor with 6 cores, so it is possible that some of them are weaker than others, the Apple company being able to reduce the performance of the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus to keep them at a much lower level than the iPhone X will provide it for customers.

The iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus will not have Face ID and will not do facial recognition, so they do not need as much processing power as the iPhone X, so it is normal for them to be lower. iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus and iPhone X will be presented on September 12 and I'm waiting for you on iDevice.ro starting at 19:30 to discuss all the news that the Apple company will present to us.
