eMAG please do not cancel the pre-order iPhone X made in this page, the Romanian online store starting to send emails to customers who have placed orders for phones. Below you can see the message I received today for an iPhone X pre-order at eMAG that I didn't pay in advance, but chose cash on delivery, but theoretically this shouldn't matter, although some operators would have said that orders paid online have priority.
eMAG sends this email, probably to clarify some of the customers who call and ask when the pre-order for iPhone X made at the online store in Romania will be delivered. It is possible that some of the customers have chosen to cancel the pre-order for the iPhone X, and now the store is trying to reassure people in order not to lose the sales they should register after the phones are about to enter the country.

eMAG should, in theory, start delivering pre-orders for iPhone X on November 3rd, but we heard various statements from you saying that deliveries actually start on November 6th. If the stocks of iPhone X phones will arrive in Romania these days, then deliveries will definitely start on November 3, but otherwise it could take longer until they are shipped.
eMAG has no interest in delaying deliveries of iPhone X pre-orders, but since it started sending messages like this, it's pretty clear that there is a problem. Either customers are impatient to find out the delivery date, or pre-orders have started to be cancelled, but regardless of the situation, I do not recommend canceling the pre-order at eMAG for iPhone X, because it is not guaranteed that you will receive it from somewhere else.

UPDATED: I asked the people from eMAG about the delivery of the orders and the answer is the following. The good part is that the order of pre-orders will be honored, not the payment method.
