iPhone X it has a stupid change made by the company Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), for the operating system interface, and it generated a lot of discussions in the online environment between users. We are talking about the empty space left by the Apple company under the iPhone X keyboard in the iOS 11 operating system, its existence can be explained by the lack of the Home button.
iPhone X no longer has a Home button and closing applications is done by a swipe gesture from the bottom to the top of the screen. If the keyboard had been placed to the edge of the screen, then the swipe gesture made on the iPhone X would have actually generated the pressing of the space key, so Apple would have left that space empty.

The iPhone X most likely tested the functionality with a keyboard that was displayed to the bottom of the screen and those from Apple would probably have decided that the functionality is not good. Despite this, the empty space below the iPhone X keyboard is strange and looks as if the interface was intended to place something else there.
The iPhone X could have had that area used to display other information, such as emoji, punctuation marks, or anything else, according to some users, but Apple knows better what it did and why. An explanation for that empty space under the iPhone X keyboard will come at some point, it just remains to be seen how long we will have to wait until we have it.
