YouTube released today a very important update for iPhone users around the world, solving a problem reported a few weeks ago and acknowledged by the company. I told you then that YouTube drains iPhone battery at an alert pace during normal use, the company recognizing a problem, it being solved now.
YouTube mentions in the list of changes for the iPhone and iPad application that it has solved the problem that generates very high consumption for the battery of our iDevices. Apart from this change, the American company does not mention any other changes, so it is unlikely that anything else has changed in this update of the application on phones.
