iOS vs Android: Which Users Spend MORE on Games

A new study tells us which iOS and Android phone users spend more money on and for the games they play on their smartphones.

iOS Android Users Spend A LOT Games

For years and years there has been a myth according to which telephone users iPhone spend more money on and in mobile games, while Android users don't really do that. According to DeltaDNA, iPhone users still spend the most money on and on mobile games, but that's no surprise.

According to this study, iPhone 8 users generate the highest income, on average $3.97 per day, while iPhone X users are in second place with $3.77. Behind them we have the Google Pixel 2 XL, whose users spend $3.46, those who have Samsung Galaxy S8 and Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus following with 2.35 and 2.32 dollars, respectively.

Google Pixel 2 generates only 1.79 dollars, while iPhone 8 Plus generates the least money for developers, only 0.76 dollars, the lowest amount of all the analyzed phones. Despite this, it should be noted that iPhones remain at the top, and far above Samsung phones, the difference in income being over 50% between them.

The difference compared to Google Pixel 2 XL is not big, but unfortunately there is a very small number of such phones sold globally, so the total receipts are anyway below those of Samsung phones. If we're being honest, it was expected that iPhone X and iPhone 8 would generate a lot of money for game developers, but it's surprising that iPhone 8 Plus is not capable of such a thing.
