iPhone: Apple GROWS Sales with Android Tactics

Apple increases the sales of iPhone phones using a tactic used with great success until now by Android phone manufacturers.

Apple's iPhone GROWS Android Tactic Sales

Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), started to think like the phone manufacturers Android to be able to substantially increase its phone sales iPhone in 2018 and 2019, so they call the mobile phone operators. More precisely, American analysts claim that Apple's iPhone phones will record an increase in sales in Q2 2018 compared to Q2 2017 thanks to the subsidies that mobile operators have constantly offered for phones.

Apple would have worked with mobile phone operators in the US and China to increase iPhone sales through promotional campaigns that brought the phones on sale at much lower prices than normal. Strangely, analysts say that offering a free one-month period to use more iCloud space on the iPhone would be an additional reason for increasing iPhone sales, but this is very hard to believe, considering the prices of these subscriptions.

iPhone X, iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus and iPhone 7 were sold with subsidies of up to 700 dollars in the US, so we are talking about substantially lower prices than those charged by the Apple company normally for the devices. More than that, analysts also say that the depreciation of the dollar by 4% compared to last year would contribute to better performance of the Apple company in T2 2018, but here we are not necessarily referring to iPhone sales.

"Looking at the near-term, Barclays sees three positive factors influencing Apple's June quarter results: carrier promotions for iPhone in the US and China, foreign exchange rates, and the new free iCloud storage trial offering. Moskowitz notes that while US wireless carriers are offering BOGO deals and up to $700 off on iPhone 8/8 Plus and iPhone X, China is also offering heavier subsidies than what came along with the iPhone 7."

The iPhone is the most popular phone model on the market at the moment, and in the first months of this year the iPhone X and the iPhone 8 series were always in the top of the best-selling smartphones. How big is the impact of this positive positioning on the total sales of Apple's iPhone phones is hard to say, but analysts are very optimistic about the evolution of the American company in the second quarter of 2018.
