Netflix announced during this day a very important new feature for users around the world, the company testing it thoroughly before offering it to global users. More specifically, the Netflix company launched today for Android users a function that allows the automatic download of series for offline playback when we do not have an Internet connection.
Netflix has implemented this new functionality for the series that we see within the application, so that if we watch a series, the application will automatically download the video clips that we are going to see. The Netflix application will automatically delete the video clips already seen by us, so we will just have to let the system work by itself to benefit from the best experience.
Netflix: IMPORTANT Feature Released Today
Netflix created this function in the application so that when we are connected to a Wi-Fi network, it automatically downloads the unseen episodes of the series, so that we can see them when we are offline. Netflix thought everything to work automatically when we use the application and watch series online, so users should only feel its benefits.
"How is this useful? Imagine you download an episode or two of Stranger Things at home and watch it on the subway ride to work. Once you connect to your office WiFi, Netflix will delete the episodes you've already watched and seamlessly download the next one in the background."
Netflix did not think of the function for it to automatically download entire seasons of our favorite series, it only downloads one or two episodes that we are going to watch. To download entire seasons of an online series broadcast through Netflix, we will have to use the manual function, so from this point of view, absolutely nothing will change for users.
