Google Chrome: UNEXPECTED, but EXTREMELY USEFUL function

Google Chrome has revealed an unexpected function, but which will be extremely useful for users all over the world, here's how it will help you.

Google Chrome UNEXPECTED USEFUL Function

Google Chrome is full of surprises, and a completely unexpected new function was discovered in the beta version of the browser from Google, being extremely useful for those who want to use it daily. Google Chrome has implemented a lot of changes in the version that will be released on September 4 for users from all over the world, today's version bringing the possibility to discover more through searches.

Google Chrome has implemented the option to display documents from Google Drive when we search in the address bar for various words, something that no other browser has yet. Practically, when we are interested in accessing a document that is available in Google Drive, we will only have to write its name in the address bar of Google Chrome, and from there we will be able to access it immediately without first entering the separate platform.

Google Chrome: UNEXPECTED, but EXTREMELY USEFUL function

For now, Google Chrome has implemented the basic functionality for this function, but it does not actually work, because for now no results are displayed for documents available in Google Drive. Of course, Google will solve the problem and display the information that users are looking for, the new functionality of Google Chrome can be extremely useful for some people, but also very annoying for others, and it can, most likely, be disabled.

"The flag description explains how this feature is expected to work. Once enabled, Chrome will search your Google Drive (also) each time you type in a keyword into the address bar aka the Omnibox. If there is a file or folder that Google thinks is related, you will see it as one of the suggestions."

Google Chrome has this functionality offered only if the Google Search search engine is set as default, so you will not be able to make a combination between another search engine and what Google Search offers. Considering that this new feature for Google Chrome was discovered in the latest beta version, but is not active, it is not yet certain that it will be offered in the newest public version, which will be released soon.
