Any iPhone, or iPad, can be blocked with a new malicious code that was discovered by a cyber security researcher, exploiting the way Safari works to render certain web elements. You can see in the video clip below how this code is used to block access to any iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch, the method can be used, theoretically, on any iDevice running iOS 7 - iOS 12, the problem not being solved by Apple.
In the last year, iOS was the victim of many problems of this kind, that is, all kinds of codes that either blocked only messaging applications, completely, or completely blocked the phones, and restarted them. The visible problem in the video clips below presents the second case, iPhone and iPad being completely blocked and restarted when the respective link is accessed, both from Safari and most likely from standard applications that have built-in webview .

The code, which can be accessed in this page, affects the way iOS interprets the background filters, the CSS code applying a blur effect to the div elements in the web pages, and thus everything generates the blocking of the phones. Accessing the code generates a kernel panic in iOS, and since everything is designed to exploit a bug in Apple's operating system, of course the problem can only be solved by those from Cupertino.
Since this problem affects both iOS 11 and iOS 12, it is clear that Apple knows very well what is happening, but why it has not solved it yet remains a mystery, especially since the new version of iOS will be released tomorrow itself I think that the solution to this problem in iOS 12 will be included in the first released update, i.e. iOS 12.0.1, and those from Apple will, most likely, hurry to offer it for users, maybe even during the next week.
