iOS 12.1 beta version 2 was released today by the Apple company, and together with this version an announcement was made regarding a new functionality for iPhone and iPad. Apple has announced that iOS 12.1 will bring no less than 70 new emoji characters that we can use with our iDevices, all of which are offered in beta version 2.
iOS 12.1 is not the first version of an operating system that brings a lot of new emoji characters for users, those from Apple offering updates of this kind on other occasions as well. Many of these emoji characters were expected with the release of the initial version of iOS 12, but those from Apple kept them to offer something more now.
Apple Announces a NEW Feature for iOS 12.1
iOS 12.1 will bring, among other things, emoji characters with superheroes, with new animals and crustaceans, with new vegetables and fruits, including one that symbolizes a cupcake. Moreover, those from Apple will offer in iOS 12.1 more diversity in terms of the types of people that these emoji characters represent, as you can see below.
iOS 12.1 does not currently have a release date, but I think it will be released before the iPhone XR hits stores, so somewhere between October 22-25, with the iPhone XR scheduled for release on October 26.
