Last night Google launched one of the coolest functions it has offered in recent months, the American company having very big plans for customers.

Google has already launched since last night a new function that is extremely useful for those who use Google Chrome, but are also gamers at the same time, it was announced a few weeks ago. More precisely, those at Google have made the decision to launch a streaming service for games, which is available through Google Chrome, the first to try it having the opportunity to play Assassin's Creed Odyssey directly from the browser, from anywhere.

Google chose the name Project Stream for this project of his, and in case the title of the game does not give you the understanding that it is now only available for consoles and PCs, well, that is the reality. Those from Google started last night to send the first invitations to gamers who want to try Project Stream, they can play this game directly from Google Chrome, without having it installed on the computer, the idea itself not being new, but it is offered differently.

Google collaborates with those from Ubisoft, the creators of the game, to be able to offer the title for streaming through Google Chrome, other services offering similar functionality, but with a fairly small number of games. Those from Google also offer the first users a voucher worth 10 dollars to be able to buy various objects in the game, and thus they will have the opportunity to receive information on how the entire system works, and possibly what should be improved.

"Live the epic odyssey of a Spartan hero. Starting today, you and other Project Stream testers get to play this game for free until January 15, 2019. No catch, just embrace your inner legend and then tell us what you think of this new way to play. Remember that you need to be at least 17 years old and in the US to play this game."

Google is testing this system until the beginning of next year, when it will probably decide whether to launch a public beta version in which to try the platform with more users from around the world, then probably a final decision will be made about it. Google says that only a connection of at least 25 Mbps is required to play this game, from any platform on which Google Chrome is installed, so it will be interesting to see how everything will work out in the end.
