iPhone 8. Q3 2018 turned out to be a very good one for this series of phones, the Apple company managing to record very good sales for the model in the US, there even beating the iPhone X. According to Kantar, the iPhone 8 was the best-selling model of smartphone in Q3 2018 in the USA, iPhone 8 Plus also registering quite good sales, but it is not specified if they are above those of the iPhone X, they are below the iPhone XS series.

Thanks to the good sales of this series, the Appl company would have registered a 5% higher market share in the US in Q3 2018, compared to Q3 2017, and this is probably due to the fact that the selling prices were low enough. iPhone 8 had a market share of 9.4% in Q3 2018 on the US smartphone market, so 1 out of 10 smart phones sold in the country in the three months ending in September was this model of the American company.

iPhone 8. Sales went very well in the US, but unfortunately in Europe the situation was not quite as good, and this is because Apple recorded decreases in market share in the 5 main European markets. Those from Huawei consolidated their second position on the smartphone market in Europe in Q3 2018, and Apple remains in the 3rd position, despite the fact that the iPhone 8 did very well in the US, Europeans having other smartphone preferences -hate.

iPhone 8. Unfortunately for Apple, Europe is starting to be invaded by Chinese manufacturers, and apart from those from Huawei, Xiaomi had very good sales in some very important countries. Considering that the iPhone XS series is very expensive, and the iPhone XR does not seem to convince many people, it is expected that the iPhone 8 will continue to record good sales, and those from Apple will make a profit and large receipts, without increases substantially in quarterly sales.
