A foldable iPhone seemed like a crazy idea a few years ago, but in 2019 things are no longer that way, and that's because Apple has several patents to describe such a mobile phone model. Because the patents describe so well how this future foldable iPhone from Apple could look, someone thought to create some images based on them, so we can see a little of the vision of those from Cupertino for their future phone.
The iPhone has always been an interesting phone for a lot of people, but what we see in the images below describes more of an Android phone with iOS than something that would resemble what Apple has done in the past. Although the case resembles to a certain extent what we have seen for iPad tablets, the front panel of this foldable iPhone is much different from what Apple has done up to this point.
A foldable iPhone from Apple might look unusual
It is, of course, very possible that Apple to choose to completely change the design of its phones to launch a foldable iPhone, which in the patents is described as having one or two screens. The main, foldable screen could be split in two to display separate images on each side, and a third screen could also display images, to make this foldable iPhone usable even when it is closed.
For now, the idea of a foldable phone has not "caught", not even at a theoretical level, and this is because no manufacturer has managed to present any concept that shows that these types of smartphones would be useful. Considering that sales have somewhat capped, manufacturers choose to go the "road" of foldable phones in order to maintain or increase sales, and Apple could use a foldable iPhone to stay in the attention of fans.
