Samsung GALAXY FOLD, is the first foldable phone made by the Korean company, and as you probably already know, this phone has a foldable screen that folds on the inside, not on the outside of the case. Samsung did not explain at the time of the presentation of the Samsung GALAXY FOLD the decision to have a screen that folds in this way, but of course the press asked the management of the company what was the rationale behind the decision, and of course an answer was given.
Samsung GALAXY FOLD, has inward folding for the screen because the Samsung company wanted it to be protected when it is bent by users, which does not really happen in the case Huawei MATE X. Those from Samsung did not miss the opportunity to mock Huawei for the decision to use a screen that folds inward, saying that it is much easier to develop than the screen used for the Samsung GALAXY FOLD.

Samsung GALAXY FOLD, had this decision taken, apparently, after a lot of testing done for the phone screen, but whether it is the correct one or not, we will find out in just a few months. Before the Samsung GALAXY FOLD is launched, i.e. on April 26, a new event will be organized by the Samsung company, but it is not clear what will be announced then, although the event should take place with only a few weeks before the launch.
We considered a lot of options. There's things like if you want to put a case on it, usability, durability, and we feel that having the screen on the inside is the best way to protect that screen. We have the technology to do a fold that is very very tiny, as of course if you have the fold on the outside it doesn't take quite the same amount of research and development to get that device to fold as it does something that is folding with a much lower angle degree on it.
Samsung GALAXY FOLD, will also be available in smaller quantities than Samsung GALAXY S10 at the time of launch, the phone being considered "super premium" by the Korean company. Considering that the Samsung GALAXY FOLD costs 1980 dollars, or about 2000 euros, it was expected that the phone would be available in limited quantities at the time of the start of sales, those from Samsung more than likely expecting that the demand would be small at the beginning.
Samsung GALAXY FOLD, has not yet announced the countries where it will be available starting on April 26, but theoretically it should be available in Romania as well.
