iOS 13 makes a BIG CHANGE for Contacts

ios 13 contacts

iOS 13 comes with a very big change for the contacts we store in the iPhone phones, at the moment, those from Apple wanting to offer us more security. Those from Apple say that users use the contact book to store various confidential information that should not end up there, and they are stolen.

iPhone users store information on passwords for various websites, PINs for cards, plus many other such data in their contacts. Because people don't know for themselves that they shouldn't store data there, iOS 13 is going to block developers from accessing this information, which is great news for us.

Yet, people continued to use their Address Book as a makeshift password manager. Or they would enter a variety of other private information into the Notes field in Contacts. Perhaps they'd note their ATM pin code, the door code for their home, a vault code, a social security number, credit card information, and more. They may also have written down private notes about a person that they wouldn't want shared.

Starting with iOS 13, the app Contacts will no longer provide information from the field of Notes, Notes, for contacts to third-party applications that request access to them. Everything is done automatically by the Apple company, even if users allow third-party applications to see the contact information, so we don't have to do anything at all.

iOS 13 was presented by the Apple company with a very strong focus on the security side, and based on what we see now, it seems that things are going well in this direction.
