More precisely, for the year 2020, the Apple company wants to launch iPhone phones that use a new technology for the processor that has not been used by any smartphone manufacturer until now, the premiere following will offer you a huge advantage.

Apple wants to use a new type of processor in the 2020 phones that will be produced using a 5nm manufacturing process, clearly superior to the 7nm used for the current A12 chips with an integrated processor. Even in the new A13 chip prepared for this year's phones, we are not going to see a major evolution from the Apple company on the technological side, they will still be 7nm, but produced with the EUV manufacturing process.

At that time, TSMC matured into a 16nm process, and 10nm and 7nm have not yet been mass-produced. Initially they planned to invest 25 billion in the 5nm process.
