Apple Music reaches a new RECORD of Subscribers on iOS, Android

Apple Music 60 million

Apple Music reached a new record of subscribers on the iOS and Android platforms, the Apple company continuing to be successful with the audio streaming platform. More precisely, according to the vice president of Apple, Eddy Cue, Apple Music currently has 60 million active subscribers globally on the iOS and Android platforms.

Apple Music managed to gather 10 million subscribers from January until now, the rate of growth being quite good for those from Cupertino in 2019. Apple Music still lags behind those from Spotify, who announced over 100 million subscribed to the platform a few months ago, the total number of users being much higher.

Apple Music it will not catch up with Spotify very soon in terms of the number of subscribers on the platform, but this is not exactly something that the world did not expect. Apple Music is offered in a much more limited way than Spotify globally, and it does not have a version that is permanently offered for free, thus reducing its monthly growth.

"It was at the Apple Store on the Champs-Elysees that Eddy Cue, Senior Vice President in charge of Services, was waiting for us to talk about the future of Apple Music. In one of the company's new meeting rooms in France, the one who works directly with Tim Cook did not hide his pride: in just 4 years, Apple's music streaming service has attracted more than 60 million subscribers."
