More precisely, today the Government of Romania officially adopted an emergency ordinance that regulates the implementation of AML technology, so that customers who use the services of Digi Mobil, or other operators, can be located more easily.

I also told you that in order to use this more accurate location technology, it is necessary to automatically send an SMS by phone to the number 114 through the Digi Mobil networks, and not only when asking for help at 112.

Despite the statements made now, it remains to be seen to what extent those from STS will receive the money they need, and if they will modernize the 112 emergency service to integrate AML technology for Romanians. I would not have high hopes that the deadline of February 2020 will be respected, but Digi Mobil, and the other operators, will not have any input in completing the modernization, so it is possible that things will end more difficult.
