Android app defense alliance applications

Android is at the center of a very important announcement made by the Google company for all phones around the world, the Americans finally taking a stand vis-à-vis a big problem that affects customers. More specifically, Google decided to create the App Defense Alliance, the Alliance for protecting applications, in order to eliminate the malware that is implemented in so many applications within the Android operating system.

Android will have applications much better protected thanks to an extensive collaboration between the companies Google, ESET, Lookout and Zimperium, the three discovering many types of malware for phones in recent years. Google stated that it chose these companies thanks to the great success they had in the past for the discovery of malware in Android applications, so their experience will be used from now on for the operating system.

Android will have even better protected applications because Google will integrate the protection system for the Google Play Store and the application scanning systems used by the three partner companies. Basically, the Android applications will finally be scanned by multiple systems to be able to discover any kind of malware that is hidden by hackers to exploit the phones of users all over the world.

"Fighting bad actors in the ecosystem is a priority for Google, but we know there are others doing great work to find and protect against attacks. Our research partners in the world of mobile security have built successful teams and technology, helping us in the fight. Today, we're excited to take this collaboration to the next level by announcing a partnership between Google, ESET, Lookout, and Zimperium. It's called the App Defense Alliance, and together we're working to stop bad apps before they reach users' devices.”

Android currently has an extremely big problem, with millions upon millions of phones infected with various types of malware, and theoretically, everything that Google has announced now will fully solve the problem. Some of these companies have criticized Google for not being able to protect the Android operating system, but if they have detection systems integrated into Google Play, they will have nothing to complain about.

Android will benefit from these new protection systems from the next period, so theoretically, we should get rid of constant alerts regarding problems with applications.
