BCR Apple Pay was also LAUNCHED for Customers from Romania

BCR Apple Pay was also launched for customers in Romania by the bank, so that now millions of customers can make mobile payments with Apple terminals.

BCR Apple Pay

BCR launched Apple Pay today in Romania for all customers who have an Apple product compatible with the mobile payment system, and can use the platform together with a bank card to make payments, both physical and online. BCR joins Raiffeisen Bank, ING, Banca Transilvania, Unicredit Bank, OTP Bank, Orange Money, Revolut, Edenred and Monese with the launch Apple Pay in Romania, and this can only make me happy.

Apple Pay is an extremely useful mobile payment system, it completely replaces a contactless bank card to pay at any kind of POS that accepts such payments, and soon we will be able to use it for ATM withdrawals as well. BCR launches Apple Pay just like all other banks, that is, any of the Romanian customers who have cards can add them to the Wallet application to make payments, so there are no restrictions or hidden costs for them to use the service.

Apple is finally available for BCR bank customers

BCR leaves behind BRD and CEC, two other financial giants from Romania that have not yet entered the technology era and do not offer the possibility of using Apple Pay on Apple devices, but things will probably change there as well. As things look at the moment, the vast majority of the big banks in Romania offer Apple Pay, and those from BCR complete a select list, which I presented to you above, but of course things don't stop there.

Apple Pay is offered in tandem with their own mobile payment systems by many banks, they need something like that because Google Pay has not yet arrived in Romania, so for Android they have no alternatives for now. All BCR customers can activate Apple Pay right from this moment, and if you have problems activating the service, then you will have to contact the bank to tell you what exactly is happening with your card.
