WhatsApp this year went through some extremely serious problems that put billions of people on the planet at risk, apps for iOS and Android having such serious vulnerabilities that anything could be taken from the devices. We are talking about vulnerabilities that allowed the exploitation of iOS and Android phones through WhatsApp even without the users knowing what was happening, and everything shows us how dangerous it is to simply install them on phones.
At the beginning of the year, WhatsApp solved a serious problem that was based on a malware made by Israelis, throughout the year it solved other problems almost as bad, and recently a new one appeared, as serious as the others. All these problems show us that a simple application for phones, such as WhatsApp, can give people thousands of kilometers away the possibility to control our phones, but also to take anything from them.
WhatsApp can be a danger to any phone in which it is installed
WhatsApp can be used by hackers as a weapon to control phones and attack various other websites, or public infrastructures, all by exploiting devices due to unknown vulnerabilities. It's incredible how within WhatsApp, problems constantly appear that can lead to the exploitation of people's phones, however the hackers want, and when one is solved, another appears, as if even worse than the first.
WhatsApp has a problem revealed almost every month that allows the exploitation of phones, not all of them are very serious, but once every few months there is still one that normally shouldn't exist. The constant with which all these problems appear raises a lot of question marks, but it also shows us that WhatsApp users should not feel safe when they have the application on their phones, especially if they use an Android phone, which is easy to hack.
WhatsApp is a danger for everyone, and many do not give it importance because they do not consider that their data is important, that is until someone breaks their phone and deletes everything from it, or steals their pictures and identity, money from accounts, or the account by Facebook, after which everyone cries.
