Facebook SURPRISES with a CHANGE you really NEEDED

Facebook is finally implementing a function that you needed, after many failed attempts to bring us changes that would be really useful.

facebook surprises change you needed

Facebook surprises with a new function that users all over the world really needed for the social network, but that no one knew anything about if they had not used Instagram until now. More precisely, those from Facebook want to bring to their messaging network a function similar to that of "Close Friends" within Instagram, so that users can publish messages on the platform only for their closest friends.

Facebook currently allows the publication of messages that only our friends can see, but that means any person with whom we are friends, without being able to filter in any way how narrow the circle must be. The similar function "Close Friends" follows so it allows us to create a circle of very close friends, and when we publish certain posts on Facebook, they will be seen exclusively by these people, not by all friends.

Facebook will only allow posting for close friends

Facebook favorites

Facebook will have the function implemented with the name "Favorites", and after selecting the close friends to whom we want the messages to reach, we can publish stories from the application, or messages from Messenger only to them. Facebook is currently testing this function within Messenger, but it will reach the main application as well, and after publishing a post to friends, users will be able to chat separately with each of them.

Facebook favorite posts

Facebook will allow you to manually add up to 10 people in the "Favorites" section to whom the posts will be sent, and if this does not happen, they will be added automatically by its artificial intelligence. At the moment, the functionality offered by "Favorites" is quite limited, but those from Facebook want to gradually expand it until it ends up being similar to that offered by the "Close Friends" function of Instagram.

Facebook is preparing the launch of this system at the moment, but it is difficult to say when it will actually launch it for users all over the world, so we have to be patient.
