Ministry of Health: new information for citizens regarding the Coronavirus

Ministry of Health treatment coronavirus blood

Today, the Ministry of Health issued new information that aims to help citizens be much better informed about the new Coronavirus, and as you can see below, it is about two extremely important messages in the context of the global pandemic.

The first information provided by the Ministry of Health is based on a fake medicine that a doctor promoted through Facebook for the prevention and treatment of the Coronavirus, but nothing he said is real, and you must be careful not to believe the lies of this kind.

"Several false information about the use of homeopathic remedies in the coronavirus infection began to circulate on the Internet. This information has no scientific basis.

Don't be fooled. Homeopathic drops or other similar preparations are not recommended for coronavirus. For the prevention or treatment of the coronavirus, using homeopathic products at the expense of the measures indicated by doctors can put your life in danger."

The second information from the Ministry of Health is based on an older request that the authorities have always made, that of donating blood because it is needed in Romania.

"At the level of the transfusion centers, additional measures have been taken for the safety of donors, the staff of the centers and the people to whom the blood products will reach. There is international consensus on the safety of blood transfusions in the current circumstances of the novel coronavirus pandemic.

In all donation centers in the country there is a triage point where temperature is measured, travel history, possible contact with infected people and possible symptoms of infection are investigated.

Donors receive masks, rigorous hand disinfection is supervised, donation spaces are regularly disinfected and donors are kept at an optimal distance.

The need for blood does not stop with the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic. It is very important that the blood donation activity continues! If you have not traveled outside the country in the last 28 days, have not come into contact with infected people and do not show symptoms specific to the coronavirus infection, please donate blood.

There is the possibility of remote scheduling for blood donation, by phone, by email or through mobile applications such as Donorium.

Donate blood! Your generosity can save other people's lives.”
