The cases of infection with the new Coronavirus reached 10.635 today following the latest information from the authorities in our country, and we are talking about a new increase in the same line as what we have seen in previous weeks regarding the situation in our country.
The number of cured people also increased, reaching very close to the figure of 3000, i.e. almost 30% of the total number of infected people, and somewhere around the average that we have already seen in many other countries around the globe.
Unfortunately, the number of deaths continues to increase, as does the number of those in intensive care, and even if only a little over 218 new cases were confirmed between yesterday and today, this does not mean that we have reached the peak or that the pandemic it's at the end.
From yesterday until today, almost 5100 tests were done by the authorities, and as I told you above, even if the number of confirmations is lower, we have seen fluctuations in the daily number of confirmations in the past weeks as well.

By the competent structures of the MAI, 483 criminal files have been drawn up, up to now, under the aspect of committing the crime of thwarting the fight against diseases, an act provided for and punished by art. 352 para. 1 Criminal Code.
The police and gendarmes detected, in the last 24 hours, 5.218 people who did not comply with the traffic restriction measure. Contraventional sanctions were applied to these persons, in the amount of 10.408.178 lei.
Regarding the situation of Romanian citizens in other countries, according to the information obtained by diplomatic missions and consular offices of Romania abroad, 1.482 Romanian citizens have been confirmed to be infected with COVID-19 (coronavirus): 1.157 in Italy, 196 in Spain, 26 in France, 16 in Germany, 64 in the UK, 2 in Namibia, 3 in the USA, 4 in Austria, 3 in Belgium, 2 in Indonesia, 2 in Switzerland, 2 in Turkey and one each in Argentina, Tunisia, Ireland, Luxembourg and Sweden. Since the beginning of the COVID-19 (coronavirus) epidemic and up to this moment, 73 Romanian citizens abroad, 19 in Italy, 16 in France, 23 in Great Britain, 7 in Spain, 3 in Germany, 2 in Belgium, one in Sweden, one in Switzerland, and one in the US, have passed away.
