Milky way manages to surprise researchers from all over the world again after something was discovered inside it that few thought they would see, namely a new black hole that is surprisingly close to Earth. It seems that until now researchers have not discovered a black hole in the Milky Way that is 1000 light-years away from the Earth, but here they have managed to do even this, which comes as a very big surprise.
Milky way has this black hole discovered in a constellation that bears the name Telescopium, and this is the closest to the solar system, and implicitly the Earth, of all that exist now. The black hole in the middle of our galaxy is 25.000 light-years away from Earth, so this 1000 light-years away is extremely close, but of course we are talking about distances in the universe, the Milky Way being extremely large.
Milky Way: Researchers SURPRISED by New Black Hole
Milky way it is the source for millions of stars, so many solar systems, and the black hole that was hidden until now was discovered in a solar system that has two stars. That solar system began to be explored by researchers a year ago, it has the name HR 6819, and they discovered this new black hole in the Milky Way after they saw that one of the stars has an extremely high speed, and so they discovered what supported it.
Milky way the image above shows how one of the stars rotates around the black hole at very high speed, the researchers coming to the conclusion that it is such an object after analyzing the data. That black hole would have a mass equivalent to about 4 times that of our sun, and more details will probably come from them after they analyze more carefully the new hole discovered in the Milky Way.
Milky way it could have many more black holes that have not yet been discovered by researchers, but to determine this, more analyzes of the universe are needed.
