Samsung seems to have done something that it is possible to see from many more mobile phone manufacturers in the future, and this in the context where the new Coronavirus still remains an extremely big problem. More precisely, for the Galaxy Note 20 series, Samsung made a series of special cases that should also offer protection against the new Coronavirus, or at least that's what it says on them, as you can see in the image below.
Samsung presents its new Galaxy Note 20 cases as having an antimicrobial layer applied to them, and many believe that this would be a barrier against contamination of the case with the new Coronavirus. Of course, for now we do not know 100% for sure that Samsung has found a solution to protect phone cases against contamination with the new Coronavirus, but based on what we see, there is no other logical explanation at this moment.

Samsung could have for customers who want the Galaxy Note 20 a solution to protect their screens until the moment they open and use them, and this is because at that moment the screen will be contaminated. Of course, if both the screen and the case of the Galaxy Note 20 phones were treated with this special solution against microbes, then Samsung could offer customers total protection against infection through contact with contaminated surfaces.
Samsung would also have registered a patent for what appears to be the same antimicrobial substance applied to the cases above, and from here the connection was made with the Galaxy Note 20. According to information from Samsung, this substance could keep the phones safe from the Coronavirus for 90 days, after which it should probably be reapplied, which could be very helpful for users who want to be safe.
Samsung is, for now, the first manufacturer to come up with such a solution to protect against the new Coronavirus, but most likely it will not be the only one with something like this.
