Milky Way: DESTRUCTION Caused by Supermassive Black Hole
Milky way at one point its central area was flooded by two explosions of gas jets and gamma rays, these destroying the outer layers of some stars that were in the vicinity of the black hole. The explosions would have taken place approximately 4 million years ago, when a large object would have entered that black hole in the Milky Way, but for now it is not very clear exactly what happened, especially since we are also talking about something that it happened a long time ago.
“The supermassive black hole, Sagittarius A *, has released a powerful jet of gas that has ripped off the outer layers of the red giants. That turned the stars into smaller red giants or hotter, bluer stars. Today, Sagittarius A * is quiet, but two enormous bubbles of gamma-ray-emitting gas are rooted in the center of the Milky Way's tower, far above and below the plane of the galaxy (SN: 12/9/20). These gas bubbles imply that the black hole came to life about 4 million years ago when something fell into it."
Milky way there are no huge stars in that area with very hot outer layers and red surfaces, these having the respective outer layers completely destroyed, so they are even colder than other stars.
