Facebook has decided to hide the friend lists of those in Afghanistan who use the social network so that the Taliban cannot create links between people and not punish those who have collaborated with the West in the last 20 years.
Facebook allows those in Afghanistan to become practically anonymous within the social network, so that people can protect themselves against reprisals that many have been expecting for some time, considering the Taliban's way of working.
