Ministry of Health: Romanians could only go to restaurants with a COVID-19 Certificate

The Ministry of Health, through the voice of Minister Ioana Mihaila, says that Romanians could only go to restaurants with a valid COVID-19 certificate, something that is imposed in other European countries as a measure to reduce the spread of the Coronavirus among citizens.

The Ministry of Health is discussing this possibility within the governing coalition and together with the other ministries, and in the end this solution was foreshadowed by many even before these certificates were launched at the European level by various authorities.

The Ministry of Health says that access to the restaurant would also be allowed on the basis of the old certificate issued by the authorities, but the European one also includes data about passing through the disease, or recent testing, so it is much more versatile and useful even for the unvaccinated.
