LIDL Romania has officially announced a last-minute decision for Romanians all over the country and asks them to be very careful about the stores where they shop, and this is because it is talking about a situation that everyone should know about. More precisely, the people from LIDL Romania convey to people all over the country the fact that they are starting to close the stores earlier in accordance with the legal provisions regarding the incidence rates in the localities.
LIDL Romania tells the Romanians that based on Government Decision number 932 of September 9, 2021, in the localities where the cumulative incidence rate of infection with the Coronavirus exceeds 6/1000 inhabitants, it is obliged to close its stores earlier. Based on these decisions, in localities with incidence rates of 6/1000 inhabitants, LIDL Romania will close their stores at 18:00 on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, until the incidence rate decreases.

LIDL Romania also says that in the localities where the cumulative incidence rate exceeds 7.5/1000 inhabitants, the stores will close every day at 18:00 until it falls below the respective value. LIDL Romania is not the first measure of this kind applied to stores in Romania, and this is because at the beginning of the year the company had to apply similar measures in localities with high incidence rates.
LIDL Romania must comply with the decisions of the Romanian Government, but it is not the only large chain of stores that is obliged to act in this way due to the cumulative incidence rates that are registered in the country.
