NASA Warns us that the Earth will be hit by a Giant Cloud of Magnetic Plasma

NASA Warns Earth Hit by Giant Magnetic Plasma Cloud

NASA issued a very serious warning for the Earth at the beginning of this week, and this is because it managed to detect in time a very important plasma eruption that took place on the surface of the sun, heading towards our planet. According to NASA experts, this magnetic plasma cloud, whose mass would be a billion tons, would reach the Earth on Wednesday, and could generate a geomagnetic storm, theoretically of low intensity.

NASA detected this solar explosion during the day of August 14, but considering the distance between the Earth and the sun, its effects will only be felt by us on Wednesday, and a geomagnetic storm, even of low intensity, still generates problems. The radiation emitted by the sun goes towards the Earth at a speed of about 2 km/h, so that is why NASA expects that our planet will be hit by them only on Wednesday.

NASA has sounded the alarm since the end of July regarding the solar eruptions that will take place in the next period, and this is because the sun has a much more intense activity in this cycle, compared to previous estimates. Geomagnetic storms generated by solar eruptions can cause major problems for telecommunications systems, or geolocation, which are based on satellites, and not only that.

NASA monitors the activity of the sun extremely carefully during this period in order to be able to observe in time any kind of eruptions that can be really dangerous for the Earth, because there is a risk that they may occur. Of course, not much can be done in these situations, but it is important for people to know if there is a chance that telecommunications systems, geolocation, and more, will be substantially affected.

NASA will continue to monitor the activity of the sun very carefully, and will report any kind of strong eruptions that it observes, and this is because theoretically, others should appear in the next period, unfortunately.
