Minister of Education: IMPORTANT New LAST-HOUR Announcements, Official Decisions for Many Schools in Romania

Minister of Education IMPORTANT New Announcements LAST TIME Official Decisions Many Schools Romania

The Minister of Education made a series of new and very important official announcements at the last minute, revealing the decisions and measures taken for many schools in Romania, and this because in the last few days the number of teachers who are still on strike has decreased substantially, according to the Deca League , and it is possible to decrease further.

The Minister of Education talks about the current percentage of teachers who are still on strike, Ligia Deca having a national situation that shows that a large number of teaching staff are not satisfied with the measures taken by the Romanian Government, and tomorrow there will be other negotiations, but it is not he knows how big their impact will be.

"As I promised, during the morning I received information from the school inspectorates, from the counties in which they received information, in turn, from educational units, and as a result of the measures taken by the Government of Romania and the Emergency Ordinance 53 date on June 1, which provides salary increases in education, we can announce that since then and until today, about 15.000 people from education have given up the strike.

On June 6, today, during the morning, because I would like to draw attention to the fact that it is a continuous process, in order to give up the strike, those who wish to do so must submit a written request, today being the first working day, these requests are submitted today. The centralization until 10:00, said that we have a total participant in the strike of 52%.

Of these, the percentage of teachers participating in the strike was 59,5%. The situation as of May 31, if you want me to give the figures from that time, the total percentage participating in the strike on that date was 58%, the percentage of teaching staff participating in the strike was 64%, this was the situation before the day of June 1, when the Emergency Ordinance was adopted.

We have counties that have around 25%, of the total, of participants in the strike, for example in Prahova, and we have counties where the participation is quite high, for example Hunedoara, where the participation is somewhere around 80%. What we are happy about is the downward trend, teachers are returning to classes, teaching staff are returning to schools, and this allows us, as discussed yesterday, to be able to organize a recovery program at the level of each educational unit.

I would like to emphasize the fact that the number of schools that completely abandoned the strike is 170, between May 31 and June 6, at the national level being over 1.000 educational units in which no member of the teaching staff, or auxiliary teaching staff, he is not on strike."
