ENGIE, one of the energy groups with the largest number of active clients in Romania at the moment, officially announces you as a client, in connection with an extremely important decision, which also brings a series of measures that will affect you , starting with January 1 and until almost the end of the first month of the year 2024.
ENGIE talks below about the fact that between January 1 and 22, 2024 it will carry out maintenance work, so that some services offered to customers will be unavailable, the way you transmit the auto-read index is changing, so it is important to know what you have to do to correctly notify the company about consumption.
Based on the information that ENGIE Romania brings to your attention, the self-read index can be transmitted until January 12, if you are in the reading period, and the automatic readings will be done with a delay by the network operators, and if you cannot transmit the index during the period of unavailability, you will be able to do it in February.
ENGIE Romania does not explain very clearly why it does these maintenance works for its services, but regardless of the reasons behind them, the impact will exist for all customers in Romania and it is good to be informed, in order to know how to act during following, in order not to be substantially affected by what is happening.

The reading of the index by the distribution operator is done once every 3 months, in a pre-established period.
