Steve Jobs rejects the accusations regarding data logging of iOS owners

In the midst of the scandal regarding the logging of data related to the locations visited by iDevice owners, a person sent Steve Jobs an email asking him why iOS saves this data and Android does not. Although he is on medical leave, Steve Jobs he answered to the email saying that iOS does not save user data at all, but Android does. Steve's statement is more than amazing (if it turns out to be true) considering that it is proven that iOS logs browsing data and if you have a computer with Windows installed you can convince alone, I've already convinced myself.

Question:Steve,

Could you please explain the necessity of the passive location-tracking tool embedded in my iPhone? It's kind of unnerving knowing that my exact location is being recorded at all times. Maybe you could shed some light on this for me before I switch to a Droid. They don't track me.

Answer: Oh yes they do. We don't track anyone. The information circulating around is false.

Sent from my iPhone

Just today the Wall Street Journal a publicat a report demonstrating the fact that iOS logs user data even when the GPS is closed, so I've long passed the demonstration part. Now Apple has to answer to government agencies of some countries where they sell iPhone because of this system. If Steve Jobs really answered that question, then it is quite clear that Apple will never officially admit that it logs user data, but it will probably solve the problem "secretly".
