Your Apple ID can be hacked without you knowing your password

We all know that iTunes is a big, big target for hackers and many Apple IDs have been hacked over time, especially by Asian hackers. Well, an American suffered the same thing recently, because during the night he woke up with hundreds of dollars disappeared from the account following some purchases made through iTunes by a hacker who hacked his account. He managed to cancel part of the payments, the other part is to be cancelled, but the bad part is that he claims that he did not enter his password on any phishing website.

The problem in these situations is related either to the use of public Wi-Fi to access the Internet, or to a bruteforce attack on your account. In the first case, an ill-intentioned person can use various programs to analyze the traffic made through a public HotSpot, and when you send data through an unencrypted session, that person can take over everything you send. Thus, your password and account can be compromised while you enjoy free internet on your own terminal.

In the second case, the hacker must know your username and based on it initiates a bruteforce attack that can work or remain without any results. The second case has little chance of success, but the first can happen at any time, especially since many users use public HotSpots to surf the Internet and use social networks, download applications, etc. Be very careful what and how you use and try not to connect to HotSpots that you do not know because you never know who is monitoring the traffic made through them.
