Tobii REX and Gaze UI will allow you to control a PC using only your eyes

Last year I told you that an American company intends to bring to the market a device that will allow users to control computers using their eyes and vision, and now I tell you that that device will arrive in the near future on the market. Tobii REX the device is called UI gases it is called the software on the basis of which it interprets eye movements, and the compatibility is "only" limited to Windows 8. The device connects via USB to any monitor, is compatible with any computer running Windows 8, and with it you can zoom/scroll, navigate through the Windows 8 Metro UI and that's about it.

Although the idea behind REX is interesting, unfortunately the product does not allow you to fully control Windows 8, so you will need a mouse and keyboard to control the operating system, in the segments for which REX was not designed. Even so, the year 2013 promises to be an interesting one for those who were waiting for such technologies, REX being the second product of this type, the first being called PCEye, but its price of $7000 did not convince many people that it was worth buying.

REX cannot be purchased from stores for now, but for software developers there is a special version of the product that will arrive in the next few days on the market at the price of $1000.
