Live Photos and privacy issues

Live Photos functionalitylive Photos is a special function of iPhone 6S si 6S iPhone Plus which allows the recording of pictures in a similar Motion JPEG format, they being animated and having attached audio content recorded along with them.

To make these types of pictures, the terminal room iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus records content for 1.5 seconds before and after pressing the record button Live PhotoBut Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), claims that not all content is saved.

According Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC),, although the Camera application records 1.5 seconds of content before pressing the button to record a Live Photo, the final picture does not have that content, but only the 1.5 seconds that passed after pressing the button to take the respective picture.

During the 1.5 seconds, no content is saved in the terminals and it is not shared with Apple's servers or other devices, so you can rest assured that no one will see what happens before you record a Live Photo.

Although the camera is "recording" while you're in Live Photo mode, the device will not save the 1.5 seconds before you press the camera button. The pre-captured images are not saved to the user's device nor are they sent off the device.

However, accessing the Live Photos section from the Camera application will generate a continuous recording of content and constant battery consumption until we actually take the picture, but only the 1.5 seconds after recording the picture are saved, the function being activated by default.

In this idea, you must be aware that the Live Photos function is activated automatically every time you open the Camera application and that the pictures take up twice as much space than the normal ones, but that only the content recorded after pressing the dedicated button will be automatically saved by the terminals.
