The iPhone 6S adoption rate continues to grow

apple reduces iPhone 6S ordersThe last few days have brought us a multitude of rumors related to discount on iPhone 6S orders at the Apple company's partner factories, this information seriously affecting the price of the Cupertino company's shares on the American stock exchange.

Trying to contradict all this information, a company specialized in analyzing the adoption rates of iDevices published today some very interesting statistics regarding the percentage of iPhones that are currently in use and how it has evolved since during the last three months.

According to this company, at the moment the iPhone 6S represents 13% of the total number of active iPhones globally, the percentage being lower than the 21% recorded in the case of the iPhone 6, the difference being to some extent justified by the fact that now more iPhone terminals are active than last year.

Even so, the difference between the two percentages is so great that it suggests the fact that Apple sold fewer iPhone 6S terminals in the first 3 months of availability than it sold in the case of the iPhone 6, and from here a new series of speculations will appear regarding the decline in iPhone sales.

Looking at these figures, it is clear that Apple has a serious problem regarding the sales of iPhone terminals and it would seem that the rumors regarding the reduction in the number of units ordered from its partners have a grain of truth.

Based on these rumors, the value of the Apple company on the American stock market decreased by several tens of billions of dollars and will continue to decrease because, for now, there is no clear data to contradict them.
