Apple will launch new models of MacBook Pro and MacBook Air during October, those from Cupertino having the products almost ready to be officially offered to the whole world. MacBook Pro and MacBook Air 2016 have been in the development process for some time, many customers have been waiting for some time for the update of Apple's product series.
Moreover, the Apple company intends to release a 2016 iMac by the end of the year, which will have new graphics cards produced by AMD. Separately, a 5K monitor is being developed in partnership with LG, but for now it is not known when it would be launched for global users.
MacBook Pro and MacBook Air 2016 in October
According to the information that appeared today, MacBook Pro 2016 it is going to be thinner than the previous model and it is going to include an OLED screen that will cover the upper part of the keyboard. More than that, the keyboard is going to be flat, and Touch ID will make its way into the new product to allow quick unlocking of the laptop.
The OLED screen will dynamically display control options depending on the screen or open applications at the time of use, so that in the desktop we will see standard functions for brightness and audio control. In the applications we will have available options to control their various functions, so the buttons will be different depending on what the developer offers.
Regarding MacBook Air 2016, it seems that Apple will include a USB-C and probably Thunderbolt 3, with a hardware upgrade also possible. Apart from these changes, for now there is no other information regarding the improvements that could be made by the Apple company for this product line.
iMac 2016 and a new 5K screen
The 2016 iMac will, as we told you above, have new AMD graphics cards and could also come with faster Intel processors for users. Design changes are not expected for now, nor is it known if other hardware changes would be offered by Apple together with this update.
As for the new 5K screen developed together with LG, it will replace the Thunderbolt one that went on sale this summer, but not much information is known here either. Of course, it is not known when this new screen would arrive on the market, but it is possible that it will be launched by the end of this year for us.
