Asian analysts initially estimated that the production of iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus will be 15-25% lower than that for iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus, but it seems that in reality it will be higher. Those at Apple take advantage of Galaxy Note 7 problems and the surprisingly high demand for iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus, production will increase accordingly.
With 100 million units of iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus manufactured by the end of the year, the Apple company could sell in these three months almost half of what it sold in the whole year 2015. Two mobile phone operators in the US stated that iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus pre-orders registered 4 times higher than those for iPhone 6 or iPhone 6S. Under these conditions, those from Apple can say that the new products are a real success, even though we are talking about only a few days of open pre-orders for the two devices.
"The orders for chips dedicated to iPhone 7, made so far for the year 2016, are higher than those initially estimated. Even so, initial orders for iPhone 7 terminals were 15-25% lower than those for iPhone 6S. Apple asks its partners to produce 100 million iPhone 7 terminals by the end of 2016, the figure being higher than the 80-85 million units initially estimated."
