iPhone 7 Plus overheats when surfing the Internet

The iPhone 7 Plus overheats while browsing the Internet using a mobile data connection, the heat released affecting the user experience.

7 iPhone Plus it overheats while surfing the Internet, and I have noticed this repeatedly during the last two days. Until recently, I surfed the Internet using mainly Wi-Fi and there were no problems to one extent or another, but switching to 4G for intensive Internet browsing revealed a possible problem.

The iPhone 7 Plus heats up excessively if you surf the Internet a lot using a 3G/4G mobile connection, and if you also watch videos, the terminal becomes very hot. Basically, the iPhone 7 Plus heats up as much as when you play for several tens of minutes, and this is far from normal for a smartphone.

The iPhone 6S Plus also heats up during long Internet browsing using a 3G/4G mobile connection, but not as strongly as the iPhone 7 Plus. The other day I told you that the iPhone 7 Plus overheats when you use the Portrait function of the Camera application a lot, the same thing happens with Internet browsing.

I noticed the overheating because it is unusual compared to what I was experiencing on the iPhone 6S Plus, and unfortunately the problem will probably persist. The new quad-core processor of the iPhone 7 Plus seems to generate much more heat than its predecessor, and Apple doesn't seem to have found an efficient method to dissipate that heat.

If you have a cover, foil, or case, then you will feel the heat a little less, but this will not prevent the iPhone 7 Plus from overheating while surfing the Internet. Problems of this kind have existed in the past and the only solution would be to reduce the working frequency of the processor to reduce excessive heating, but that would affect performance.

Over time, this iPhone 7 Plus problem can become extremely annoying, especially if you are used to browsing the Internet a lot using a mobile data connection. In the summer, the situation could be even more complicated, because the terminals would stop working due to the heat, so it will be interesting to see if Apple will find a solution to the problem.
