AT&T is stopping sales of the Galaxy Note 7

AT&T has suspended sales of the Galaxy Note 7 due to the danger that all customers who use this Samsung product are at risk.

With 4 terminals Galaxy Note 7 that caught fire in a single week, the Samsung company today received a hard blow directly from the US, AT&T announcing the stop of sales of the Galaxy Note 7. AT&T is the second largest mobile operator in the US, so its decision will have a major impact on the image of the Samsung company in the country.

Those from AT&T discussed for several days about the possible stoppage of Galaxy Note 7 sales, and this was decided during this weekend by the operator. Although Samsung replaced the defective Galaxy Note 7 units with others that should not have problem batteries, in reality even the "safe" ones catch fire out of nowhere in the hands or homes of users.

Those from AT&T made this decision precisely because of the 3 cases of "safe" Galaxy Note 7 terminals that caught fire in the US, two of which were apparently replaced by AT&T. The operator announced that following the investigations that will be done in these cases, they will decide whether they will resume sales or stop selling the product.

AT&T recommends customers who bought the Galaxy Note 7 to visit one of its stores to replace their device with another Samsung product, or another competitor's product. This is the first time that AT&T makes such a decision because of a smartphone that catches fire out of nowhere, and Samsung begins to see that the patience of its partners is not infinite in the face of apparent lies.

"Based on recent reports, we're no longer exchanging new Note 7s at this time, pending further investigation of these reported incidents. We still encourage customers with a recalled Note 7 to visit an AT&T location to exchange that device for another Samsung smartphone or other smartphone of their choice."
