FabFocus brings Portrait, bokeh, to old iPhones

Last week I told you about a new AppStore application called fabfocus, being developed with the idea of bringing the new Portrait function of the iPhone 7 Plus to the old iPhone terminals. Practically, this application allows us to record photos with bokeh effect, that is, the subject is in the foreground, and a blur effect is applied to the background.

Everything is done automatically by the application using an artificial intelligence system, as is the case with the iPhone 7 Plus, promising to offer a similar experience. Unlike the Portrait function of the iPhone 7 Plus, the FabFocus application is compatible with all iDevices from the iPhone 5S and iPad Mini 2 upwards, so it is very likely that you can use it.

Theoretically, this application should offer a functionality very close to that offered by Apple's Camera application, but for now no one can guarantee this.

"With only one touch, FabFocus is a simple and powerful tool for instantly turning your portraits into professional-looking photos. For novices without any previous experience or advanced photographers, FabFocus uses facial recognition to bring DSLR-like depth of field and bokeh effects to any iPhone. Using advanced facial recognition AI, FabFocus detects people in the foreground and automatically blurs what it distinguishes as the background. It's that easy to take an amazing portrait with a professional depth of field effect. Quickly adjust blur and transform any point lights into customized aperture shapes like hearts or stars!”

The FabFocus application is available for download from the AppStore following this link. It costs $1.99, being sold with a 30% discount for a limited time.
